Managing Director - Luke Stambolis
Managing Director - Luke Stambolis

Widely respected within the construction industry, Probuild’s Managing Director, Luke Stambolis, oversees all business activities across Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and Western Australia. Luke’s refined property delivery skills and ability to forge strong leadership teams have enabled Probuild to convert many of Australia’s most iconic projects.

Luke is known for his dynamic approach and innovative thinking, which has significantly advanced the industry, using lean practices and embracing new technologies. The Probuild Construction System (PCS), a construction methodology adapted from the automotive industry and initiated by Luke for Probuild in 2016, was a major development within both the company and the broader industry. His ability to translate a vision for success into tangible outcomes for employees supports a measured approach to problem-solving.

Luke has more than 23 years’ experience in the industry and is recognised as an exceptional operator with both strong commercial expertise and significant project delivery experience. Luke is an executive known for his ability to influence outcomes and inspire teams in a competitive industry.

Chief Financial Officer - Brad Duggan

Brad Duggan joined Probuild in December 2016 as Chief Financial Officer, bringing with him 20 years' experience in accounting and finance.

Brad was previously a Director of international accounting and consultancy firm PwC, where he worked both in Australia and New York City, before spending time in senior leadership roles within the property and construction industry. Brad is an industry leader and is recognised for his technical expertise, transparent and personable approach and commitment to relationships.

As the Chief Financial Officer for Probuild, Brad is accountable for providing strategic direction for the Finance and IT functions, as well as oversight of the legal functions of the business, ultimately supporting delivery of commercially successful projects. Brad is responsible for managing all external financing, banking and security facility relationships for the business.

Her strength is her ability to cultivate genuine connections from the executive table to the construction site, making her a much valued and respected member of the Probuild team.

Sam strives to reach beyond best practice recruitment and has successfully managed end-to-end recruitment for a diverse portfolio of clients across Australia and internationally in both the public and private sectors across her career.

Her passion at Probuild is to help improve employee engagement through her broad portfolio and to continue the exploration and improvement of diversity and inclusion in the construction industry.

Sam developed the company’s work life balance program, MY TIME, and has driven the development of Probuild’s graduate program for many years.

National Commercial Director - Steve Wilson

Steve is responsible for leading and providing support to the Commercial Managers in each state, including the setting and review of specific processes and commercial outcomes. He also sets the standards for consistency and continuous improvement of administration systems and processes at all levels of the organisation and fully embodies the Probuild culture of bold, open and accountable.

Steve joined Probuild Constructions in April 2014 as a member of the Victorian senior management team in the role of Commercial Director and has over 32 years of industry experience. Steve has full responsibility for establishing, managing and controlling all commercial activities associated with Probuild’s construction projects.

Steve has strong relationships with top tier local subcontractors and has access to a diverse overseas supply chain, and develops the procurement strategies to ensure quality and performance standards are seamlessly met.

Joe started with Probuild in 2012 as commercial manager after joining the company from the merged Contexx business and then moved into an internal audit role in early 2015. Joe has had an extensive career in the construction industry, having filled several managerial roles in major national construction companies. He is focused on streamlining the internal commercial and system activities of the Group to produce the most cost effective outcomes for our clients and ensure Probuild complies with its internal processes, policies and procedures.

Executive Project Manager - Lorien Dalmau

Lorien is an experienced construction professional, with over 15 years in the industry. She started her career on site, progressing through to her current role of Executive Project Manager at Probuild where she is accountable to the Board for the delivery of Probuild’s business reinvention program.

Lorien has managed the delivery of several large projects across Victoria and WA, including; Avant, a 55 story apartment tower in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD; NV, a $200M+, 898 room hotel and apartment development in Perth, and most recently as Project Director on the $200M+ Exchange development at Curtin University in Perth.

Lorien holds an Executive MBA from Melbourne Business School and was awarded the NAWIC Outstanding Achievement in Construction Award in 2020.

National Planning Manager - Peter Gallagher

Peter has over 20 years experience in a variety of planning roles ranging from site based roles on major complex projects through to senior management positions. He established and ran his own consultancy business for over 5 years providing planning advice to companies ranging from small commercial builders to major property companies.

Peter has been involved in complex construction projects in Australia, UK, Malaysia, Vietnam and Philippines. In the UK he managed the planning aspects of two major and complex projects, Whitecity and Wembley.

Peter’s roles over the years included numerous opportunities to peer review major projects to assess risks, look for opportunities and ensure a high standard of planning is undertaken.

Jeff leads the Queensland operations of Probuild with significant experience in Commercial Construction, having successfully led major Construction Projects in Southern Africa, the Middle East, Singapore and Australia. His experience, business and technical skills are combined with good organisational and leadership capabilities to ensure successful construction outcomes.

Highly respected by his colleagues, clients and contractors, Jeff contributes positively to the success of his team and the company with his professional attitude and standards.  He maintains an active, hands-on approach to construction and remains highly involved in the industry, particularly in relation to all construction-related matters and industrial relations.

Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management.

Executive Chairman - Simon Gray

Simon Gray brings to Probuild over 30 years of experience in business leadership roles in the construction industry.  Simon is recognised as a dynamic and determined leader and is well regarded for his interaction with all industry stakeholders and his drive to ensure projects are successfully delivered to the satisfaction of our clients. 

Prior to joining Probuild, Simon was founder and Managing Director of construction company Contexx for 6 years until the company merged with Probuild in 2012 and Simon became the Probuild Group Managing Director.

Simon also spent 15 years with Brookfield Multiplex where he progressed from project manager to Group Managing Director of the construction division.  During this time his responsibilities included growing the Victorian, South Australian and New Zealand businesses along with managing international projects in UK and New Zealand.

Simon holds a Diploma of Building, is a fellow of the Williamson Community Leadership Program and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
