In addition to formalised opportunities such as Workplace Giving, Community Weekends and a Soup Kitchen Volunteer Roster, Probuild’s ProCommunity program encourages employees to get involved in projects of personal interest that give back to the community.
A few weeks ago, the team at 271 Spring decided to support The Dylan Alcott Foundation and the Untitled Group by providing equipment and facilities for Ability Fest.
Ability Fest is an event organised by The Dylan Alcot Foundation and Untitled Group that aims to use music as a platform to normalise disability. This is achieved by encouraging everyone regardless of age, gender, disability or race to come together in celebration of live music. The venue is fully accessible for all patrons, regardless of their abilities.
All artists, Untitled Group and the venue donated their time and resources to the event, with 100% percent of the proceeds going towards helping young Australians with disabilities.
Probuild was pleased to contribute:
· 300m of crowd barrier fencing
· 1x DDA Toilet
· 1x Hydration Station
Congratulations to our team at 271 for driving the support of such a worthy cause. In the last three years Probuild staff have volunteered for more than 2500 hours.
