Probuild and client Poly Australia have made considerable progress on site at 1000 LaTrobe Street for its expected completion in the second half of 2021. The 40,000 square metre A-grade office building will provide over 1000 construction jobs for Melbournians and when completed, will define the Digital Harbour precinct.
The team have completed the core and the removal of the Lubecca system. Precast installation to seal the lift shafts will continue over the coming weeks.
Installation of façade glass has been completed up to level 13 followed by a warm shell fit out underway throughout the office floors. Probuild will provide finishes and services to common areas of the building in preparation for tenancy leasing.
Probuild has also been contracted to undertake Myers integrated fit out, supplying warm shell fit-out services and installation of joinery.
The formation of the last structural slab for level 22 is in progress with the completion of the entire concrete structure scheduled for mid-February. The plant room will be the final concrete pour in preparation for a 7-metre-high structural steel to be installed on that will encapsulate the entire building.
