Victoria Racing Club Members’ Grandstand

Flemington Racecourse

The $46M Members’ Grandstand at Flemington Racecourse is a five-tiered, 6500-seat structure that was constructed over an existing stand. The distinctive curving profile of the grandstand required significant innovation in construction, as did the long, glazed trackside facade that achieves uninterrupted views of the track.

A feature of the internal space is a vast atrium rising from Level 2 to level 4. Internal spaces have the quality, flexibility and amenities to allow the grandstand to function as a conference centre and function venue on non-race days. The quality of the fitout throughout is extremely high and back of house facilities are also finished to the highest level.
