Current
UWA Student Accommodation
This project comprises the demolition of the two current buildings at Currie Hall and replacing them with three, five to seven-storey buildings containing 515 dwellings.
The $68 million redevelopment, which will be made up of studio, one, two and three-bedroom apartments, will include administration offices, common rooms, kitchens and a cafe.
This is the biggest student housing development since UWA’s housing colleges were built on the original 1960s vision for the Currie Hall site.
The project is part of a successful submission by the University for 1000 dwellings under the Australian Government’s Rental Affordability Scheme.
