Riverwood Apartments

Riverwood Apartments is a $32M Design and Construction development on a site located on the banks of the Yarra River.  The site is off a small residential street with the local park adjoining the property.  The development offers a mix of one to three bedroom apartments and townhouses.

The site includes large areas of landscaped gardens, an outdoor gymnasium, private balconies and a rain water harvesting station.

The project comprises four separate buildings with Building A housing 43 of the 82 apartments.  Building A includes one and a half basements of car park and storage, with three levels of apartments above.  Building B adjoins the street and includes 10 separate townhouses, all similar in design.  Building C and D include a mix of both townhouses and apartments to take the total number of residencies to 82.

The construction of each building is slightly different.  The townhouses are made with precast wall panels and posi strut flooring, with Building A being a more commercialised design with post tension slabs and precast wall elements.

The project is expected to be completed in October 2012.
