Pfizer Rommelag 8

In November 2010, Probuild was awarded the Construction Management contract for the construction of a hi-tech production facility within Pfizer’s operational pharmaceutical premises in Bentley, WA.
The project comprised the reconfiguration and construction of an isolated facility to house the new Rommelag pharmaceutical production equipment. The major challenge for the project was the integration of the highly specialised services within the existing facility. The majority of installation and commissioning tasks had to be completed after hours as well as over the annual shutdown of the business.
There was the need for a considerable amount of interface with the design group as well as the stakeholders of the project to ensure that all programmed works were approved prior to commencement.    
Construction of Stage 1 was successfully completed in early February 2011 with the balance of works scheduled for completion in June 2011.
