Clayton Community Centre

This new $17M community facility has been designed to meet the needs of the residents of the City of Monash. It includes a 25m indoor swimming pool, leisure pool and spa, a public library, an auditorium/theatre, cafe, gymnasium, maternal and childcare centre, pre-school and occasional care facilities, a youth and family services centre, community arts room, and a large Monashlink community health and dental facility. The project includes a unique architectural structure with sloping external walls, using basic external finishes in innovative and challenging ways.

The development was completed in March 2008.
