Chadstone Shopping Centre Stage 25,30 & 33

Our $260M project for Stages 25, 30 and 33 is our largest batch of works at Chadstone Shopping Centre to date. Stage 25 commenced in February 2007 and was completed in September 2007.  The project comprised the bulk excavation of an existing road pavement area at Ground level to achieve additional floor area to the lower level retail space, and an extension of an existing Mall to provide additional retail trading are within the existing car parking area. Stage 30 comprised construction of a bulky goods retail area, basement and rooftop car parking, ground level retail and a four level office tower located above the existing suspended car park slab.  This stage was completed on time in November 2008.
Stage 33 comprises construction of a new lower ground and ground level retail mall and expanded retail trading space, an extension of the existing south west multi-level car park, construction of an additional level of car parking to the existing East multi-level car park, upgrades to existing services infrastructure currently serving the Shopping Centre and construction of a new lower level deliveries entry.   Completion of Stage 33 was achieved in November 2009 and caps an extraordinary relationship with Chadstone over 30 stages of development. We were awarded the Excellence in Construction Award for Commercial Buildings over $80m at the 2010 MBAV Awards.
