Seven17 Bourke

In December 2007, Probuild was awarded the contract for design & construction of a new mixed use development at 717 Bourke Street, Docklands. The project comprises the construction of retail, car parking, 5 levels of podium office and two multi level towers – one an 18 storey PCA A grade office building and the other a new 300-room Travelodge Hotel.
The site is located in Docklands and is bound by Wurrundjeri Way, Bourke Street and Aurora Lane. Delivered under a fixed price design & construct project, and with a contract value of approximately $190 million, the project is designed to achieve 5 star Greenstar and 4.5 star NABERS ratings.  Probuild was heavily involved in the pre-construction phase to provide specific construction expertise whilst working to ensure costs were minimised. Construction was completed in July 2010.
