The Clarendon Centre

The Clarendon Centre combines retail and office uses in a contemporary new building in the heart of South Melbourne's shopping strip. The $26M development houses two upper levels of commercial office space, an extended Coles Supermarket, specialty retail tenancies, a food court and two basement car park levels. The project had a number of challenges, including restricted site access, constructing new work against the heritage-listed St Luke's Church, and the discovery of an underground watercourse where the lift core was to be constructed.
