Chadstone Shopping Centre

Stages 20, 21 & 22 and David Jones fitout

Stages 20 and 21 of Chadstone Shopping Centre comprised the construction of two 3-level department stores, demolition of an existing department store, an additional 28 000 sq m of trading area, relocation of a number of major specialty tenants, a new AMF Bowl, nine new cinemas, food tenancies, a 3-level Borders store and 2048 new carpark spaces. In addition, Probuild was awarded the contract for the fitout of the new, 3-level David Jones department store.

The project received the MBAV's highest award in 2000, when Probuild Constructions was named Master Builder of the Year for its construction. It was the second successive year that Probuild received the award.
