One Wallace Avenue, Toorak

The construction of 35 luxury apartments in Toorak Village posed challenges that included restricted access to the tight site on one of Melbourne's busiest roads, the extremely high quality of design and finish, and the acoustic requirements imposed to achieve a 6-star standard.

The project was developed on the site of a former petrol station requiring extensive remediation works. The development included a site retention system, concrete structure, construction of the brick veneer and precast concrete facade, airconditioning, security and communications systems, two lifts, a swimming pool and spa, feature pool and landscaping.

The $21M project was constructed over 18 months and was completed in September 2002.
