Melbourne Underwater World

The $20M Antarctic Penguin Exhibit and expansion of the Melbourne Aquarium by Melbourne Underwater World (MUWW) houses Australia's only collection of Antarctic King and Gentoo penguins. The development has doubled the footprint of Melbourne Aquarium to approximately 6,000m².

The project involved the expansion of the Melbourne Aquarium to provide a new main entry, additional exhibit space, function facilities, administration support offices and retail space in Flinders Street under and around historic railway viaducts. It is the first major expansion of the existing Melbourne Aquarium since its original construction.
