Since commencing in Sydney in 2002, Probuild has grown steadily, earning a reputation for the successful delivery of complex projects of high quality and significant architectural merit, on time and within budget.

The company has won four major awards for MBA NSW Excellence in Construction, receiving the

  1. 2009 Public Buildings $10M - $25M for Surry Hills Library and Community Centre;
  2. 2008 for Club Entertainment Buildings over $30M for Campbelltown Catholic Club and Exhibition Centre;
  3. 2006 for Hospitality Buildings $5M - $10M for Breakfast Point Country Club; and
  4. 2005 for Museum of Australian Currency Notes, Reserve Bank of Australia for Interior Fitouts $2M - $5M.

By 2007, the growth of the Sydney office was marked by the purchase of our Sydney headquarters in Rushcutters Bay.


State Manager Mike Frost

Mike has over 30 years experience in the Building and Construction industry covering a range of markets including residential, commercial, retail, education, infrastructure and industrial for both the private and public sectors. He has extensive experience through his involvement in a number of successful, fast-track, multi-disciplinary projects, adding to his already impressive career in major construction and engineering works. His experience includes working in the Middle East and the UK and has spent the last 20 years in Australia.

In previous roles with major national contractors Mike has been responsible for the Design and Construction of a number of major and significant projects that established benchmark standards in the market. Recently Mike was responsible for a number of major Social Infrastructure PPP opportunities nationally and has been the D&C leader and Sponsor representative in major submissions for the NSW Government, Department of Defence and the South Australian Government.

Through his experiences Mike understands the key drivers of Project success and appreciates the importance of trusting relationships between all project stakeholders.
